I stumbled upon this quote by Zero Dean recently and just had to share it, as it is just the most perfect set of words to start 2017. I won't go into detail, but this past year has been especially difficult for me in my personal life. It has been both the hardest and most rewarding. I have learned so much not only about myself, but I have also learned who truly cares and who does not. I have figured out what direction I want to go with my life, along with directions I definitely don't. I have had the opportunity to interact with and meet some seriously inspiring people. I have been touched by the genuine support that I have received from my closest loved ones and friends. I had some serious lows and days where I didn't know how to keep my head up. I have had anxiety and panic attacks for the first time ever in my life, but I have also learned to work through them with breathing techniques (4,7,8), essential oils, yoga, and beginning meditation.
I also decided to finally go back to school to study holistic health, nutrition, and herbalism, which I have been talking about for the past two years. I even made the Dean's List. I joined New Hope Network/Delicious Living Magazine's Natural Living Blogger CO-OP, and have had SO much fun being a part of that. There are so many amazing opportunities coming from the CO-OP in 2017, BTW! I can't wait to share :). The most amazing part of this year has been the drastic improvement of my Dad's health since he has been doing immunotherapy!
My point is, no matter how grim a situation is, if you focus on the good, more good things will continue to happen.
So, cheers to an amazing 2017 filled with good health, abundance, positivity, happiness, and peace!
