13 Natural Pumpkin Products To Try This Fall 2017

Okay, I may be jumping the gun a bit, but it seems like the weather is changing ever so slightly, which means that fall is right around the corner!! As much as I love summer for the amazing produce and sunshine here in San Diego, fall is my absolute favorite season. Fall means cooler air, changing colors, boots and scarves (more like November here in SD 😂), and everything pumpkin, apple, and pear-spiced flavored!

I have been testing seasonal flavors for desserts and gelato in the kitchen at work, so I've been in a fall state of mind. Some of you may be cringing at how early us Pumpkin Spicers (Not to be confused with SPICEY 😂) are already indulging, but sometimes you just have to give in.

I LOVE everything pumpkin and want to share some of the products I've been waiting for since I first discovered them in March at Expo West, as well as a few newly announced items and classic favorites!

Check them out below!

*Disclaimer* You may turn into a pumpkin if you attempt to eat all of these in one day. No, just kidding... you might get a tummy ache, though 😊.

1. DAiya dairy-free pumpkin cheeZecake (Vegan)

I got to try this delicious goodness back in March at Expo West. I seriously could have eaten an entire cake to myself. Being a pastry professional, I sometimes cringe at vegan desserts because they just don't live up to the regular versions. NOT THIS ONE! Seriously, the texture was perfectly creamy with the right amount of spice and the crust was crispy. I'm so excited that this is FINALLY available. I've been looking it up since March to see when it would be in stores :D.

2. La Colombe Pumpkin Spice Draft Latte

I have shifted from drinking dairy in my coffee except for those #treatyoself moments. This latte is one of those moments... If you haven't had any of La Colombe's coffees, I highly recommend that you do. I've gotten to taste them on nitro and they are super creamy and rich in flavor. This one is no exception! Also, this PSL uses hormone-free milk, is lactose-free, has 7 grams of protein, and has far less sugar that the PSLs you get in the popular coffee shops (15g compared to 32g and upwards).

3. CalifIa Farms Dairy-Free Cold Brew Coffee Pumpkin Spice Latte

Califa continues to be one of my favorite plant milk brands, and this version is no exception! I absolutely love their black and white cold brew! This PSL uses almond milk and has 12 grams of sugar per serving. All of their plant milks are creamy and bursting with flavor! Go try it!

4. Nature's Path Organic Pumpkin Spice with Chia Hot Oatmeal (vegan)

I have been a fan of Nature's Path's oatmeals and granolas for quite some time. I love their pumpkin seed and flax granola, as well as this spicy and hot oatmeal! It's a quick and tasty breakfast to start your day. This particular oatmeal is non-GMO, Certified Organic and vegan. It has 5 grams of protein, 4 grams of fiber, and 6 grams of sugar per serving. They also have an apple cinnamon version!

5. Superseedz Gourmet Pumpkin Seeds in Cinnamon Sugar and Maple Sugar & Sea Salt (Vegan)

Superseedz is a newer company that sells all natural gourmet flavors of roasted pumpkin seeds. These two happen to be sweet and festive flavors, but they also have really delicious savory varieties as well! These are a perfect on the go snack with 7 grams of complete protein! They are also vegan, gluten-free, peanut and tree-nut free, and non-GMO.

6. RXBar in Pumpkin Spice

RXBar has a huge following and it's for good reason. I know there is some controversy floating around out there, but at the end of the day, these bars are made with quality ingredients and no B.S. just like the label says! I'm a really big fan of bars made from dates and this one is pumpkin spice!! If you're looking for a clean protein bar (12 grams of protein), this is a great option!

7. Angie's Boom Chicka Pop Pumpkin Spice Kettle Corn

I realize that basically all of these products have a decent amount of sugar, so just don't consume them all in one day 😆. Artisan popcorn isn't really anything new, but Boom Chicka Pop has been one of the top brands with fun flavors for the last two years at Expo West! This stuff is addicting! I'm one of those people that always gets kettle corn at the fair. I love the salty, sweet, and crunchy snacks! Add in the pumpkin spice flavors, and you have a really tasty sweet treat to indulge in! The corn is non-GMO and their popcorn is gluten-free!

8. Birch Benders Pumpkin Spice Pankcake Mix

I don't eat pancakes often, but when I do, I typically crave the pumpkin variety. There are other pumpkin pancake mixes on the market, but this one has a very simple ingredient list that is easy to read! Not only that, you just add water to the mix and BAM you're making pancakes. Talk about my kind of luxury. Oh, and, they are non-GMO and can be found at Target!

9. Zhena's Gypsytea Organic Pumpkin Spice Rooibos Tea

Fall would not be fall without a staple pumpkin spice tea, and this one is SO tasty. My Mom actually sent me a bunch of Zhena's Gypsyteas a while back, and they quickly became some of my favorites! This blend is made up of Fair-Trade Certified Organic rooibos tea, organic cinnamon, ginger, Madagascar vanilla, and other natural flavors. If you're not into pumpkin spice, I highly recommend their green or black tea coconut chai, or the ginger peach.

ICE CREAM from various brands

I have a slight addiction to ice cream and frozen treats. Not only do I make a large percentage of ice cream and gelato in the pasty shop at the hotel I work for, I have to stop myself from buying (n)ice cream any time I go to the store. So, for that reason, the number 10 spot will be shared by various brands because I could not choose just one pumpkin spice ice cream. The struggle is real, folks!

10. Alden's Organic Pumpkin Ice Cream

Just pure, creamy pumpkin goodness! Non-GMO and Certified Organic!

11. Halo Top Pumpkin Pie Light Ice Cream

Halo Top is the real deal! It doesn't skimp on texture or flavor, yet leaves you feeling less guilty than your traditional ice creams. Halo Top is low-sugar, low-carb, and low-fat. Each serving has 5 grams of protein as well! Good thing they came out with this seasonal flavor so everyone can indulge!

12. Whole FOODS 365 Organic Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream Sandwiches

These guys are self-explanatory. You can't go wrong with an ice cream sandwich! And, they are Certified Organic!

13. Vixen Kitchen Organic Pumpkin Pie Paleo Vegan Gelato (vegan)

Now, before you go bad-mouthing vegan gelato, this brand is the real deal. Those of you that live in Northern California are SO lucky, because it is only sold in stores up there! This is a cashew-based gelato that is sweetened with maple syrup. I was lucky enough to get to taste their gelato last year at Expo West, and I made sure to go back again this year! This gelato is seriously mind-blowing with how creamy it is! You would NEVER know that it wasn't real ice cream. That is how good it is!! If you are able to find it, I highly recommend it! It also comes in vanilla, mint, chai, and a few other flavors!

It was really difficult to choose just these pumpkin products as there are SO many tasty ones on the market right now, but these ones stand out to me.
